Bint Al Qamariya بنت القمرية
What is the meaning of homeland and home? Does that carry the common meaning of everything familiar and safe? The place that one can return back to at any time? Or it can be broken, damaged, and also be unstable, and yet the home remains? It remains with its parts that may have been lost, but it is still alive and lives fully in the memory.
Creating intimate proximity to the inner worlds of longing and place. Through the use of symbols and signs from memories of my homeland, I re-explore the warm sense of belonging, in spite of the melancholy sense of a lost past.
